Southern Gentry Developments focuses on projects that elevate the human spirit.  Living spaces and communities are designed to balance use of the land with the natural needs of people and families.  We purchase land, develop it, integrate proven, historic architecture, and market selectively and purposefully. 

Our process is unique and custom.  You will never see a duplicate product.  You may see the same architect, the same builders, and the same agents in our offerings.  While we typically develop within a specific demographic, we normally make available only a few offerings each year.  Southern Gentry is dedicated to complete satisfaction with a home you'll likely remain in until your kids are all starting their families.  With this as our objective, our builders offer warranties and personalized service that will add comfort in choosing our team for your family investment. 

Our builder's homes are based on the heritage and culture of the South.  They are focused on family living within that culture, typically hosting multiple bedrooms, ample entertaining room, high ceilings, three-car garages, plush kitchens, and hand-crafted cabinetry and finishes.  The floor plans and exterior are custom designed by our historically trained architects, and can be modified to personal taste during the earlier stages of construction.   The design blends in with the local area, but will usually be distinct.  The style that influences most of our work is French Colonial, as displayed in the beautiful homes of New Orleans history. 

Our services is far more than simply developing and building.  We selectively choose every detail from the land to architecture.
